About Us

The Book Farm Bath and Body started as a labor of love in 2025 when Julie (Mom) watched Kasie (daughter) struggle to find a regular job after graduating from college.

Despite her consistent effort, Kasie just hadn’t been able to find an employer willing to take a chance on a hard-working young woman with autism.  

Julie had been making body butter for her friends and family for 2 years, so that recipe had been perfected.  And every year, Julie and Kasie looked forward to a trip to a medical specialist so they could stock up on bath bombs at a retailer nearby.  The idea was born!

Kasie and Julie thought- why can’t they handcraft the body butters and bath bombs that they love so much and sell them to friends and family? Kasie also was able to acquire shelf space at a coffee shop that employs individuals with special needs.

That is where our story begins! We have so many great ideas, and hope that you will join us for the next chapters!
